UNIBEN Part-Time Degree/Certificate Application Procedure
To make your dream of joining the University of Benin’s Part-Time Degree programs a reality, follow these simple steps to complete the application process:
- You should visit a JAMB CBT Centre to enroll as a Part-Time Candidate.
- Use the JAMB Registration Number obtained to access the University’s application portal at UNIBEN.EDU or WAEUP.UNIBEN.EDU.
- On the UNIBEN.EDU site, select “Student Portal,” then choose “WaecPortal.”
- Ensure you have a valid email account before starting the application process (Please note: avoid using
- cyber-cafe email addresses).
- Click on “PART TIME STUDIES APPLICATIONS 2022/2023.” Then, select “Register for application” located at the top left of the displayed page to continue.
- Provide all the necessary information, keeping in mind that fields marked with an asterisk (*) are compulsory.
- You will receive an immediate email containing your system-generated ID and Password for login.
- Go to uniben.waeup.org and click on “Login” (located at the top right of the front page).
- Use your username and password from the email to log in.
- To start the application process, click on “Edit application record” and fill in all required information. Don’t forget to upload your passport photograph.
- Please upload a clear passport photograph measuring 1 inch by 1 inch, with a colored background that is red, in JPEG format only. Please note that this photograph will serve as the valid ID for all admitted candidates throughout their time at the University of Benin. Failure to upload the specified passport photograph will result in disqualification and forfeiture of admission.
- To pay for the application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then select “Pay with Remita” on the top left corner. Follow the instructions to pay the application fee using an ATM-Enabled Verve or Master Card from any commercial bank.
- Before submitting your application online, carefully review and confirm your information.
- Please note that you cannot edit your application after submission.
